Broadway Concert Fundraiser - Nov. 5th & 6th

Since its inception in 2004, the NJ Elks Association’s “Army of Hope” committee has raised over $1.8M to help NJ veterans and their families. Contributions have been raised through Army of Hope picnics, golf-outings, local fund-raisers, and corporate and private donations. Funds raised are restricted to, and may only be given to, those troops and their families from New Jersey.

James and Julie learned about the Army of Hope program when it was reported that its picnic fundraiser on Sept. 11th, 2016 had raised over $100K for NJ veterans and their families. They had been looking for a charity to donate proceeds to from their upcoming Broadway concert at the Center for Spiritual Living, Morristown, and the Army of Hope seemed the perfect choice. With help from Brian Murphy, the Region 2 Chairman of the Army of Hope and a member of the Rutherford Elks Lodge #547, and the support of the Rev. Frankie Timmers (CSLM), the concert provides a way for them to give back to NJ veterans and their families.
